Hello, nice to meet you. Thanks for stopping by. I'm Becca and I have a passion for learning. Learning excites me more than I could have ever imagined, and I truly believe that there are great learning opportunities everywhere; in strangers, at the movies, as you do boring old chores, as you just do life. I like to learn out there and then report to you what I've learnt back here. Even more ideally I might meet you here in the midst of my thoughts and we could engage in a little co-learning. This works best when you use the comments function. The things you will be quite likely to hear about are me (naturally), coffee shops (my habitat), movies, nice things, youth work (my vocation), God (my favourite), deeper reflections, inner yearnings, stories of unfortunate events, (I'm quite clumsy), and things that I like. Hopefully all will fall in line with my mission statement: to learn. You can follow me on twitter too if you like what you see here... @beccadean (it's a code name). In fact you may prefer me in small doses. I've been doing youth work for over seven years... in East Anglia, the Midlands and then Greater London. I've even written a book about prayer (Be Live Pray- amazon it). I'm doing increasing amounts of freelance writing, and here is where I practise without getting paid. An excellent freebie, eh?
